Dennis W. Song has been a community pharmacy practitioner in Denton County for over 20 years, and he is currently the only integrative pharmacist practitioner in the area. He serves as president of the Denton County Pharmacy Association, and the Texas Pharmacy Association named him innovative pharmacist of the year in 2003.  Dennis also teaches other pharmacists, physicians, nurses and dieticians about herbal and alternative medicines.

Dennis is certified in phytomedicinals (plant-based medicines) and alternative medicine by the Association of Natural Medicine Pharmacists and the Texas Pharmacy Association. He is a 1982 graduate of the University of Texas School of Pharmacy, and he has had additional training in nutritional, herbal and alternative medicine.
